Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best famous for his role on the popular TV show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. While at his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. While he was active in film and TV, his roles on the smaller screen are what brought him much fame. The actor has the ability to play characters from both the good and bad sides that are part of our legal system. He can draw the attention of viewers with ease. He played the part of a serial murderer in the first TV series he appeared in however he later chose to take on the role of an NYPD detective. For his work in the small screen, he's been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. He is famous for his blue-piercing eyes that have been the trademark of his character and has helped him create a charismatic character for tough roles. The People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
