Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for a number of years. He is most known for the roles he performed in "Law & the Special Victims Unit". His passion for acting started during his college years. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. His characters in television have gained him a lot of attention. He has the ability to portray each of the characters on behalf of the police as well as the different. This is the reason that makes him so popular. When he first appeared on television, for his debut show, he was the role of a serial killer. In later projects, he was the character of an NYPD investigator. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he has received multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. The piercingly blue eyes of his face have been deemed as the most captivating characteristic. The eyes have been employed to portray rough characters and give them charisma. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
